It is the ideal way to contribute to our mission whilst learning and adding a valuable entry to your CV. We also welcome students who wish to undertake their final-year or master's thesis in collaboration with Desert Leaves.

Description

You will work alongside the Desert Leaves team and local experts on projects related to reforestation, dryland restoration, sustainability and environmental impact. The experience is designed to combine practical learning, participation in real projects and an understanding of how an environmental initiative operates.

Our internship programme is open to entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, researchers and students working on their final-year projects. It is essential to have an interest in sustainability, environmental initiatives or related fields, and to meet the requirements of the programme offering the scholarship, where applicable.

Where does the programme take place?

Depending on the project you are involved in and the details of your scholarship programme, your placement may take place in Valencia, Madrid or one of our reforestation project sites.

How long does the experience last?

The duration depends on the grant programme through which you join Desert Leaves, but in any case we aim for the placement to last at least 6 months.

Who can apply?

Entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, researchers and students working on their final degree projects. It is essential to have an affinity for sustainability, environmental initiatives or related fields.

Is it necessary to be enrolled in a scholarship programme?

In order to receive remuneration, it is essential to have an external scholarship. To this end, we ask candidates to enrol in a programme that awards this type of scholarship.
