Transforming the countryside with a simple gesture

This project supports the ecological restoration of Alto Mijares through a partnership between Verdecora, Worldcoo and the Desert Leaves Foundation. Through the ‘Redondeo Solidario’ campaign, Verdecora customers can make small donations when paying by card or online, by rounding up the total of their purchase to support environmental initiatives.

Verdecora, a Spanish company specialising in gardening, plants, interior design and animal welfare since 1992, has incorporated this initiative into its commitment to nature and sustainability. Through its network of shops, it offers thousands of people the opportunity to easily support nature conservation projects.

The campaign platform has been developed by Worldcoo, a company that has been connecting businesses, customers and social organisations through transparent and innovative micro-donation systems since 2012. Its ‘Redondeo Solidario’ tool is already in use at over 5,000 points of sale and has channelled more than 104 million donations.

Thanks to this partnership, you can support the reforestation project in the village of Fuente La Reina, in Alto Mijares, where we are planting native species in an area affected by forest fires in 2023.

Planting creates habitats for animals such as eagles and roe deer, protects the soil, aids water infiltration, and captures carbon.
